MediApps app for iPhone and iPad

Welcome to the MediApps OSCE revision and examination application for medical students. The app allows you to examine the three key OSCE examinations:

• Respiratory examination.
• Abdominal examination.
• Cardiovascular examination.

The app allows you to examine your OSCE skills, track your progress as well as doubling as a revision guide by giving detailed information for each examination point within the mark sheet.

How does the app work?

In order to use the app effectively, you should launch the app when you are about to undertake some OSCE examination skills revision and hand your phone to your ‘examiner’ who can mark you. The app will then store your scores allowing you to track your progress.

Additionally, for the person acting as the ‘examiner’ they can also benefit from downloading the app as there is an inbuilt feedback form which the student can fill out and the app will store the results of. This can then be downloaded as a PDF document to add to your portfolio or use as evidence of teaching. Also this might be useful if you are a medical student as it is never too early to start collecting evidence of teaching.
